Message For those of you who think that a slicktop conversion would be a great idea, it is! This thing hauls with the shorter gears and less weight, and she would dance circles around my last 91 tt.

Now, with the completion of my slicktop twin turbo conversion by Brad Grodi of ZsolutionZ (www.zsolutionz.net) in Birmingham, Alabama, I would like some suggestions on what to do next. With the upcoming import muscle weekend hosted by SpeedForSale.com October 19-20th, I would like to be able to show up in my car and have it noticed. I went with the cleanest look that I liked, so I've been working on some misc things just to get it cleaned up.

As you can see from the pics, it needs paint in some areas, and the engine bay needs some attention to detail. When putting it together, I was more interested in getting her running (which she does, and quite smoothly at that) as opposed to focusing on cosmetics.

Check my profile for mods. Please don't flame for the following, as I already know they need attention: lack of paint, ugly ebay upper intake/intercooler pipes (cheap), oversized rear tires (traded aftermarket wheels for stockers, they came with those tires, so I'm just tearing them up for now), leather interior (as I know it adds weight to the slicktop, seemingly defeating the purpose, but I like it, and it looks good imo). Other than that, I would like suggestions as to what will be noticed, details I have missed at this point.

So far, I still plan to: get a radiator fan shroud, paint the stock brakes (thinking either silver/black/dark gray/red, feel free to offer opinions on colors), install fog light ducts from CParks, and a few other small misc things.

One thing I'd like a suggestion about is the hatch. I've always loved the 94+ spoiler, but I think installing that may detract from the fact that it's a slicktop, and may leave others thinking it's a tt from the factory. Also, I have the stock Twin Turbo decal for the rear 3rd brake light, but I like the sleeper effect of leaving everything completely clean, without a hint of it being a tt other than hearing the BOVs or looking under the hood. Suggestion? Thanks!
